| Receipts totaled 1832. The market was softer as compared to the special held two weeks ago as dry weather and lack of stock water continues to be prevalent over most of Texas and surrounding states. Most of the pairs sold in a range from $1050 up to $1350 per pair. The longer bred cows sold from $925 up to $1200 with the shorter bred ones ranging from $800 to $925. The bred heifers brought from $850 up to $1110. A limited number of open heifers were available going from $600 to $830. The next Replacement Female sale will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007 in San Saba. |
