| Receipts totaled 3016. Enthusiasm was the mode of the day when a little over 3000 head of replacement females passed through the auction ring in San Saba for this annual event. Ranchers from a wide area of Texas and as far away as Arizona, Arkansas and Mississippi were at the buyers window, paying for some young replacements, at the end of the sale. Quality and age along with uniformity was exceptionally good in the cattle offered. Recent general rain and some recent improvement in the feeder market all attributed to the strong market. Then next Replacement Female sale will be January 26, 2002 in San Saba. | ||
