The demand on choice and good quality replacement cows and heifers remains
very strong and active with buyers from the Central Hill Country of Texas,
East Texas, North Texas and Oklahoma. One New Mexico Ranch was well
represented taking home some of the top quality bred cows. Compared to the
last replacement sale held in October, the market was generally $50.00 to $75.00
per head higher. Receipts totaled 1896. The next Replacement Female Sale
is the "Best of the Best" sale in San Saba on Saturday, Dec.21. This should
be the perfect sale for you to bring your inventory up to date. See you there.
