Receipts totaled 3913. The demand was good on all the females with the better pairs selling mostly from $1200 to $1550 and the medium quality type pairs ranging from $1000 to $1200. The bred cows sold from $1000 to $1250 on the longbreds with the medium and shortbred cows selling from $825 to $1050. Most of the longbred heifers brought from $1000 to $1410 with one set of 44 Tigerstripes going for $1520. The shortbred and medium bred heifers sold from $825 to $1050. Open heifers were in strong demand especially on the one raising sets ranging in price from $750 to $1050.
The next Replacement Female sale will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006 in San Saba. |
