Jordan Cattle Auction Special Replacement Female Sale Saturday, March 10, 2001 in San Saba, Texas |

| The market on choice replacement cows and heifers remains strong and active. Buyers and Ranchers from a wide area of Texas, Marathon to Omaha, Friona to Houston, and all points in between were represented at this special sale. Numerous local ranchers helped hold the market to a very firm tone. Some of the highest bred heifers sold close to the end of the sale. An outstanding set of 101head of four to six year old longbred Brangus cows set the pace for the day going from $1250 to $1350 per head. The highest longbred Brangus heifers of the day sold at the end of the sale going from $1200 to $1225 per head. All the good cattle in between sold at steady to strong prices. Next Special Replacement sale will be in Mason, April 7, 2001. | ||
