| Receipts totaled 2205. A broad interest was shown on the choice young cow calf pairs and the long bred cows and heifers. Compared to our last replacement sale as of February 23rd, demand remains very strong and active. The medium and short breds also sold steady. Open heifers continue to sell on the moderate tone going at top feeder figures up to $50.00 above. Some one raising kind are still in the most demand. Exposed heifer yearlings sold $25.00 to $75.00 per head higher than in recent sales. Next replacement sale will be held in Mason, Tx. on Saturday, April 13, 2002. | ||
